IRATA is the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association which sets and promotes high standard of industrial rope access activities in terms of safety. It provides training and IRATA certifications of personnel involved in Industrial Rope Access.
IRATA provides guidelines for safety procedures involved in work at height and training and rating system for specialists in rope access. The system is now considered the best in the world .
